Espadilla sits on the slopes of a mountain at the foot of the river Mijares, making use of its waters to irrigate its fertile orchards and lands. A large part of the municipality is covered by large extensions of forest where the predominant species are pines and holm oaks. Despite being located in an inland area, the average altitudes are not excessively high and the influence of the Mediterranean makes the climate very pleasant.

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Salimos de Espadilla y, a pocos metros, enlazamos con el PR-CV 314, donde se separa del PR-CV 386. Continuamos ascendiendo por un camino de tierra que pronto se convierte en sendero. Este nos lleva paralelos al barranco y asciende hasta llegar a la fuente de la Piqueta, donde nos separamos del PR-CV 314. Desde allí, seguimos por un camino hasta un cruce, donde nos unimos al PR-CV 386. 

Continuamos por la pista, pasando junto a la fuente del SastreSeguimos por la pista hasta llegar a otro cruce, donde giramos a la derecha. Continuamos hasta un desvío hacia la fuente del Melic, y salimos por una senda, ganando altura hasta llegar al collado. Pasamos junto a unos corrales, donde nos separamos del PR-CV 386. 

Continuamos por la senda hasta enlazar con el SL-CV 70, que nos llevará al pilón de Torrechiva, donde nos separaremos del SL-CV 70. Seguimos por la senda hasta llegar a un cruce, donde tomamos el camino a la izquierda. Este nos lleva junto a una antigua masía y un pozo. Desde allí, descendemos hasta llegar a un camino, que cruzamos para retomar la senda. Esta nos llevará a un camino hormigonado que cruza el río, y ascendemos hasta llegar a la población. Callejeamos por el pueblo hasta llegar al panel de final de etapa en Torrechiva.
