It is located on a mountain high above fields and ravines, in the northwest of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park. The relief is very rugged, with an average altitude of 700 m and the Alto del Pinar, at 1047 m, stands out among its mountains. Large areas of woodland with pines, cork oaks and holm oaks predominate.

Route description (only available in Spanish)

Tomamos la carretera hasta llegar a un cruce, donde giramos a la derecha, pasando cerca del cementerio. Este camino nos llevará al área recreativa del Mesillo, donde enlazamos con el GR 36. Continuamos rectos hasta encontrarnos con una curva cerrada, donde parte un camino; aquí nos separamos del GR 36 y del PR-CV 276. Seguimos por este camino hasta que se convierte en sendero, por el cual iremos ganando altura hasta transformarse nuevamente en camino. 

Más adelante, encontraremos un sendero a mano derecha, por el cual continuaremos subiendo hasta llegar a la carretera de Pavías. En este punto, parte un sendero en dirección al alto del Pinar, por el que seguiremos hasta encontrar un camino. Giramos a la derecha y seguimos hasta el final, donde parte otro sendero que nos llevará a un camino y a la unión con el SL-CV 103. 

Desde allí, continuamos por senda hasta llegar a la carretera, la cruzamos y seguimos por la senda que nos conducirá al cruce donde enlazaremos nuevamente con el GR 36. Continuamos hasta salir otra vez a la carretera, donde encontraremos un sendero a nuestra izquierda. Lo tomamos y, pasando por la fuente del Cerezo, llegamos a la parte alta de la población, donde se encuentra el panel de final de etapa de Torralba del Pinar.
